GoBus is a technology platform for managing school transportation. Its purpose is to help schools, transportation companies, and families coordinate routes, students, buses, schedules, notifications, and incidents in a safer and more organized way.

GoBus is not designed for direct use by minors, nor for minors to share personal information on their own initiative. Student data is entered by schools, authorized transportation companies, or parents/legal guardians, solely for the purpose of administering and protecting the school transportation service.
GoBus does not sell, rent, or use student data for advertising, commercial profiling, or marketing campaigns.
GoBus may use location data from the vehicle, bus, or device assigned to school transportation to show route progress, estimate arrival times, confirm operational events, and improve the safety of the service.
GoBus does not permanently track the personal location of parents, students, or users outside of the service's necessary functions.

We retain data for as long as there is an active relationship with the school, transportation company, parent, guardian, or user, and for as long as necessary to fulfill operational, contractual, legal, or security purposes. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized, or disassociated from the data subject.
Data subjects, or their legal representatives when applicable, may request access, rectification, updating, deletion, or withdrawal of consent regarding their personal data, in accordance with applicable regulations.

GoBus applies technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, individual credentials, role-based permission limits, activity logs, backups, and reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature of the service.
No system is completely invulnerable, but we work to prevent unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse of information.
Some technology providers used by GoBus may process information outside of Costa Rica. In those cases, we strive to use providers that apply appropriate technical, contractual, and organizational measures to protect personal data.
